Management Fundamentals:

Six-Module Course plus 12 Months Access to Ongoing Workshops

Management Fundamentals is a six-module course focused on the everyday behaviors that drive strong management and team performance. Each module translates core management principles into clear, practical actions that participants will apply immediately to improve their effectiveness, communication, and mindset.

Learning continues beyond the classroom. After each 90-minute session, participants  put the management concepts into practice in their day-to-day work. A few weeks later, they return for a 60-minute workshop to reflect on what they experienced, troubleshoot real situations, identify where they need to adjust, and strengthen their fundamentals. Learners can return to the workshop as needed for 12 months after each module. This cycle of learning, application, reflection, and iterations helps managers turn new skills into lasting practices.

The six modules cover:

Being Intentional as a Manager: Developing a thoughtful, purposeful approach to the role

Knowing Your Direct Reports: Understanding what each person needs to perform, grow, and succeed

Getting Work Done: Prioritization, Delegating, and Assessing Performance

When Things Aren’t Going Well: Addressing performance challenges, difficult situations, and breakdowns effectively

When Things Are Going Well: Reinforcing success, recognizing contributions, and continuing to develop your people

Team Dynamics: Understanding and shaping the dynamics that enable teams to work well together

Each module includes several parts:

A learning session of 90 minutes

Practical guides, tools, and scripts to help managers put their learning into practice.

A few weeks to practice the skills and concepts in the day-to-day reality of managing teams

A workshop session of 60 minutes to debrief, troubleshoot, and iterate on best practices.
